President's Message

August 2019

Dear IMA Members:

My name is Kyle Hoeing and I am the Evansville Chapter President for the 2019-2020 year. To give a little background of myself, I am from Rushville, Indiana, a rural community approximately an hour east of Indianapolis. While attending USI, I become actively involved in IMA in 2014 as the Director of Student Affairs, and competed in the IMA Student Case Competition in 2016 and 2017, making the Final 4 both years. Upon graduating from USI in Spring 2017, I took a position in audit at BKD CPA’s and Advisors in Evansville, where I am currently employed. This past September, I successfully passed the CPA exam, with hopes of sitting for the CMA exam in the coming year. Other positions I have held while on the board included Secretary and Vice President.

Special thanks to our past board members who have paved a pathway for success for our new board! The 2019-2020 Evansville Chapter Board is eager to get this year started. Offering great service to our members is our top priority. A few of many board goals for the upcoming year include fully funding the IMA endowment scholarship at USI, obtaining additional sponsorships, taking part in an increased number of community service events, and providing new and improved CPE offerings to our members. As always, we would be appreciative of any feedback and innovative ideas you may have. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, or if you are interested in joining the board.

Regards,

Kyle Hoeing

IMA Evansville President
